‘I’ve been a prolific reader from a young age, the idea of becoming a writer somewhere in the back of my mind, but not realised till much later. I met my husband while teaching, and it wasn’t till our five wonderful kids were at school that I returned to the workforce, pursuing a career in social work. In that role, I saw ‘up close’ the tragedy and hardship so many individuals and families experienced while tackling their problems without God in their lives, and it was heartbreaking stuff. It was while working in that role, I had the idea to write a fictional story about the way God reaches out to the most ‘worldly’ of characters, using the most unlikely of circumstances to achieve the most unexpected results, and I hope the novel surprises and challenges readers, as well as inspires them.’

‘More Than Sparrows’ is my debut novel, the first of three in the series ‘White unto Harvest.’

I’m an Australian author and list spending time with family, photography, bird-watching, reading and visiting art galleries as some of my favourite things to do.
